What we frame

A picture framing studio. Handmade, to last.

§01Artwork and prints

Original paintings, giclée prints, limited-edition lithographs, and posters. We discuss paper weight, medium, and any existing damage before we touch anything. Mounts are cut to a tolerance of half a millimetre.

Engagement — From £45

§02Photographs and family portraits

Single prints, multi-aperture mounts for family sets, and panoramic frames for wedding photographs. We can source frames up to 120 cm wide without a special order.

Engagement — From £35

§03Maps, documents, and certificates

Diplomas, antique maps, birth certificates, and military documents. We use linen-tape hinges and acid-free backing so the paper can breathe and is never permanently adhered.

Engagement — From £50

§04Needlework and textiles

Cross-stitch, tapestry, and embroidery stretched over conservation-grade foam board and pinned, not glued. We have been doing this since 2013 and it is one of the things we are quietly proud of.

Engagement — From £55

§05Canvas stretching and re-stretching

Loose or warped canvases re-stretched over kiln-dried pine bars. We also float-mount canvases in a box frame if you want a contemporary look without a traditional moulding.

Engagement — From £40

§06Conservation and restoration framing

For pieces with existing damage, foxing, or fragile media. We work slowly, document what we find, and will refer you to a conservator if the work needs more than we can offer.

Engagement — From £70
